Products that reduce installation time, improve durability, and enhance outdoor entertaining earned recognition in The Home Depot’s 2026 Innovation Awards.
Announced during the retailer’s annual supplier meeting, the awards spotlight products designed to make projects faster, easier and more efficient for both professional contractors and homeowners. Several of the winners and finalists reflect growing demand for upgraded outdoor spaces and the tools needed to build them.
While the overall winner was Hampton Bay/Glacier Bay’s Ready-to-Assemble Cabinets featuring tool-free ClickReady Technology, outdoor-living products were well represented throughout the competition.
Taking first runner-up honors was the Even Embers Santa Maria Grill, a live-fire cooking system featuring more than 1,000 sq. in. of cooking space and adjustable-height grilling. The product reflects continued homeowner interest in outdoor kitchens and backyard entertainment areas.
Among the finalists, Deckorators’ Surestone Summit Grooved Edge Composite Deck Boards were recognized for their durability and resistance to the elements. Hampton Bay’s Lauder and Rosemont Solar Path Lights also earned recognition, offering adjustable illumination without wiring for decks, walkways and landscape projects.
Contractors may also appreciate several tool-related finalists, including Husky and NEBO rechargeable flashlights, floodlights and headlamps, Diablo’s Wood Demon circular saw blade, Milwaukee M12 Fuel Ratchets, and DeWalt Atomic Compact Grinders.
Ryobi’s High Flow Automotive Pressure Washer, which can be used to clean patios, driveways and other outdoor surfaces, also made the finalist list.
The awards program additionally recognized leading suppliers across major product categories. Quikrete was named Building Materials Partner of the Year, Milwaukee received Hardware Partner of the Year honors, Trex was selected as Lumber Partner of the Year, and Nexgrill earned Outdoor Living & Cleaning Partner of the Year.
Together, the winning products and suppliers highlight ongoing innovation in outdoor living, jobsite efficiency and the tools contractors rely on to deliver better backyard projects.
