Trex Co. the world’s largest manufacturer of high-performance wood-alternative decking and railing, and a leading outdoor living brand, recently recognized eight TrexPro contractors with the company’s prestigious Stellar Service Award. This is the highest honor given by the company for outstanding contractor performance, customer service and brand partnership.

The Trex Stellar Service Awards are presented annually to the top-performing TrexPro builders globally per sales region. To qualify, contractors must install enough decks during a 12-month period to rank within the top 25% of all TrexPro builders in their region by project volume and also earn the most–and highest–satisfaction ratings in post-build customer surveys.

“For decking contractors, success is built on quality work and referrals,” explained Todd Phariss, who manages the TrexPro program for Trex Company. “Earning this award distinguishes them as outstanding builders and business owners.”

Based on their impressive performance over the past year, eight TrexPro Platinum contractors were presented with Trex Stellar Service Awards. They include (by region):

Central: Rick Neff of RN Construction in Michigan

Mid-Atlantic: Dennis Kidd of Decks by Dak in Virginia

Northeast: Glen Rodrigue of All Decked Out LLC in Connecticut

Pacific Northwest: Tana and Randy Mallory of Three 60 Decks in Washington

South: Wes Brawner of Brawner Renovations in Georgia

South Central: Tony Clem of Add A Deck of the Rockies in Colorado

Southwest: Guy Jacob Zrachya of Palm Construction in California

International: Sam Buckland of SD Decking in the United Kingdom

Each winner received a commemorative plaque from Trex along with an award icon added to their profile page on Trex.com. This icon boosts their ranking in the dealer locator and indicates excellence for homeowners searching for a quality deck builder in their region.

“Building a standout deck is just part of the recipe for success,” noted Phariss. “Listening and working collaboratively with homeowners to understand their needs and exceed their expectations is just as important. Our Stellar Service Awards recognize those builders who embody the customer-first spirit of Trex by delivering ‘stellar’ work and going above and beyond for their clients.”

Comprising a nationwide network of independent contractors, the TrexPro program serves as a resource for building professionals and homeowners. Contractors are pre-screened and hand-selected by Trex for consideration. To earn TrexPro status, builders must complete extensive training on Trex products and demonstrate building expertise adhering to the brand’s industry-leading installation requirements and program guidelines. Based on their training and project volume, contractors are ranked in three tiers of expertise–TrexPro, TrexPro Gold and TrexPro Platinum for those who have demonstrated a proven mastery of the Trex product portfolio.

In addition to expert training, Trex provides these builders with valuable benefits, resources and support, such as lead generation, brand-building tools and recognition on the website of the world’s leading decking brand to help grow their businesses.
