Trex Company, the world’s largest composite decking and railing, and a leader in high-performance, low-maintenance outdoor living products, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its TrexPro contractor loyalty program. This milestone coincides with Trex’s 30th anniversary, underscoring the company’s long-standing commitment to innovation, partnership and professional excellence.
Launched in 2001, the TrexPro program is the oldest and largest running contractor support system in the decking industry. What began as an installation and sales training initiative has evolved into a robust business-building platform designed to help contractors strengthen their market presence and connect with more homeowners.

“The TrexPro program was created to give contractors a real business advantage–from greater exposure to stronger differentiation in a competitive market,” said Todd Phariss, director of trade channel and sales pipeline development for Trex. “Twenty-five years later, the program continues to help builders grow while giving homeowners confidence they’re working with skilled professionals.”
Over the past two and a half decades, the program has expanded from 70 professionals to thousands of contractors across nine countries worldwide. More than half of the original members remain active today, reflecting the program’s long-term value to the contractor community.
“In today’s industry, craftsmanship alone isn’t enough,” added Phariss. “Contractors need visibility, credibility and support to stand out. The TrexPro program helps meet those needs by elevating builders’ profiles and connecting them with homeowners actively looking for qualified professionals.”
Comprised of a select network of independent decking professionals, the TrexPro program provides professional deck builders with access to exclusive benefits designed to support business growth. To achieve TrexPro status, contractors must demonstrate proven expertise and adhere to Trex’s strict installation requirements and program guidelines. Based on training and project volume, contractors are ranked across three tiers–TrexPro, TrexPro Gold and TrexPro Platinum–with increasing benefits at each level.
“The TrexPro program has been incredible for our business and reaching the Platinum level has made it that much better,” said Michael Jaskowski of Texas Deck Pros, a TrexPro builder since 2020. “We’re able to do extra training and offer warranties and services that no one else can. It's been a boon to our business.”
TrexPro builders gain access to premium tools that help drive sales, including professional web services, co-branded marketing materials, advertising support and lead generation through Trex’s highly trafficked websites–Trex.com and Decks.com. Since its inception, the program has helped bring contractors and homeowners together for more than 304,000 outdoor living projects.
“One of the biggest perks of being a TrexPro is getting leads directly from the Trex website,” said Cameron Crawford of CFC Fences & Decks, a TrexPro company since 2002.
Select TrexPro Gold and Platinum contractors can also offer extended limited labor warranties–up to 12 years–providing homeowners with added peace of mind while giving builders a competitive edge.
“If you're not a TrexPro member, you should definitely look into it,” said Daniel Jones of Harpeth Decks in Tennessee, a TrexPro builder since 2020. “It’s all upsides on business growth.”
