Palmer-Donavin, Columbus, OH., is expanding three exterior product lines into its Midwest market, along with the addition of Owens Corning Lumber Marine Grade decking across its full distribution network. ACRE siding and trim by Modern Mill, Fiberon decking and NewTechWood decking and siding will expand from the Southeast into the Midwest, while Owens Corning Lumber Marine Grade decking will be a new offering across both markets.
All four brands will now be stocked across 10 Palmer-Donavin building material distribution locations throughout the Midwest and Southeast.
The additions significantly expand access to the Palmer-Donavin exterior product portfolio and give dealers across both markets greater access to stocked inventory. Inventory will begin arriving in the coming weeks, and all four product lines are now available to customers through Connect, the company’s e-commerce site.
“This is a meaningful expansion of our exterior product portfolio and, more importantly, of the choices we can provide our customers,” said Josh Thompson, VP of product management at Palmer-Donavin. “We have seen the opportunity these products create in the Southeast. Expanding them and adding Owens Corning Lumber across our network allows us to put more product in more places, backed by inventory, strong manufacturer partnerships and the service our dealers expect from Palmer-Donavin.”
The expanded offering provides dealers with a broad mix of solutions across siding, trim, composite and PVC decking, and specialty outdoor living applications.
ACRE siding and trim by Modern Mill offers the warmth and workability of wood in a durable alternative made from upcycled rice hulls. Palmer-Donavin offers popular siding profiles such as shiplap, nickel gap and V-groove, along with trim and complementary products. ACRE can be cut and installed using standard woodworking tools and can be painted or stained, giving contractors flexibility across a range of exterior applications.
Fiberon decking expands Palmer-Donavin’s low-maintenance decking offering with both composite and PVC options. The product assortment includes Fiberon Good Life, Sanctuary and Concordia composite decking, along with Paramount and Promenade PVC decking, providing dealers with options across price points, aesthetics and project requirements.
NewTechWood decking and siding adds another versatile composite solution to the Palmer-Donavin exterior portfolio. The decking offering includes Cortes, Magellan, Bell and Monarch series products in a range of colors, along with fascia and fastening accessories. NewTechWood siding stock profiles includes All Weather as well as European Belgian and Norwegian board options for contemporary exterior designs.
Owens Corning Lumber Marine Grade decking provides a high-performance option for decks, docks and other demanding outdoor environments. The wood-free composite material is reinforced with fiberglass and designed for durability in ground-contact, freshwater and saltwater applications, providing contractors with another differentiated solution for specialty outdoor living projects.
For Palmer-Donavin, the expansion is also about strengthening the consistency of its product offering across markets and giving customers greater access to inventory through its distribution network.
