Minnesota state representative Lisa Demuth recently visited Avon Plastics, Paynesville, MN., to discuss several bills passed through the state this year. According to Avon Plastics, they were specifically looking for advice regarding the additional financial burden their business will be facing over the next two years as a result of the passage of specific bills. The goal of the meeting was for Avon Plastics to gain a deeper understanding of how programs are funded, what the additional corporate taxation will be, and how they can plan around these changes while remaining competitive.
