Coffman will distribute IG Railing’s frameless glass railing from its Texas and Georgia warehouses.

“2024 continues to be a strong year dedicated to making our products easy to buy throughout North America” said Mike Kunard, co-owner of IG Railing. “As a young company, we are excited to work with Coffman who has navigated success for an impressive 150 years in the railing and stair parts industry.”

“Our vision is growing to include strategic partnerships allowing us to leverage our expertise of inventory management, logistics, national customer relationships and product solutions beyond our heritage of stair parts,” shared President Derek Barksdale. “IG Railing is a first step in that direction which we are excited to enter. We have been preparing for this evolution to our business and look forward to serving our dealer base of customers with an expanded service and product offering.”

IG Railing is built on a patented base, called a spigot, that houses a Wi-Fi controlled LED light, holding 1/2” (12mm) tempered low iron glass. By day, IG Railing eliminates sight obstructions of traditional post and framed rail systems. By night, the low-iron glass and LED lighting allow illumination to flow throughout the panels. Glass connector accessories, top rail and spigots are available in matte black or polished finishes.
