Viewrail Extends Coastal Railing Warranty to 15 Years

Viewrail has extended its warranty on coastal railing products from 10 years to 15 years. The extension is made possible by a recent certification from PPG, the world’s largest supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials, making Viewrail an approved applicator of AAMA 2605 powder coating products.

“We are the only company in our industry to offer such a warranty, let alone on the coast. Most companies void warranties on or near the coast,” said Len Morris, Viewrail CEO. “We are confident that our products will stand the test of time and give builders peace of mind as they search for the best solution for their clients. Having a 15-year prorated warranty is unheard of.”

This is the highest certification available from PPG. In order to receive certification, rigorous testing and examination is required. Viewrail will extend the warranty period for AAMA 2605 coated posts from 10 years to 15 years – starting a prorated warranty after 10 years.

Products under the new warranty currently include Aluminum Quick Slide Handrail, Universal and Flat Top brackets, 2205 Stainless Steel Rods, Glass, Barrier Glass and Aluminum posts with accompanying hardware. These products have associated rules of application called out in Viewrail instructional guides.
