Trex has released a post-free glass windscreen system that is ideal for pool surroundings, balcony dividers, elevated overlooks, or to mitigate wind tunneling in open areas.
The Ocula system can withstand wind loads up to 86psf, eight times the amount of a standard windscreen, when at guardrail height (43”). As the height is increased, it can withstand wind loads up to 54psf, which exceeds industry standards.
The stainless steel clamp-supported system is offered in 48” heights for pools surrounds, 60” for balcony dividers, or in custom heights. The system can be paired with clear, frosted or fritted glass, and has multiple top cap and handrail options.
