Regal Ideas President Retires After More Than 20 Years with the Company

Ernie Couillard has retired as president of Regal Ideas Inc. after more than 20 years with the company.

Effective immediately, Andrew Pantelides, vice president of marketing and business development, will be taking over Couillard’s responsibilities including sales and strategy for the company.

“Although we will miss Ernie, he has worked hard throughout his career and has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with family and friends,” Pantelides said, “Ernie has helped build the strong foundation that we will build upon. Our focus remains on our core principles of people, products, service and communities.”

Additional senior management changes include Joe Jacklin, director of marketing and contractor development, has added Sales Canada to his portfolio; Jim Topliss, director of commercial development, will work with architects focusing on multi-family and commercial projects in North America; Clifton Phelps is now director of dealer development, and will focus on program initiative rollouts for new and existing dealers, growth opportunities, merchandising and marketing consistencies for dealers across Canada.

Adding to the marketing team is Regal Ideas’ veteran of 23 years, Leela Varanasi, who has been named marketing and sales coordinator. Melinda Okmanas was recently hired as the company’s marketing and brand development specialist.
