Distributors Sign New Deck Lines

The game of musical chairs continues as decking and railing manufacturers secure new distributors throughout the country.

MoistureShield has significantly increased its coverage in both the East and the West. BlueLinx is now stocking a full line of MoistureShield composite decking products at seven additional branches—Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C.; Denville, N.J.; Yaphank, N.Y.; Burlington, VT.; Bellingham, MA.; and Portland, ME.

As well, Specialty Forest Products’ branches in Spokane and Tacoma, WA., and Bozeman, MT., now carry MoistureShield Vision, Elevate and Vantage composite decking for the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Hawaii.

Digger Specialties Inc.’s Westbury aluminum railings are now being distributed in New England and the mid-Atlantic by Sherwood Lumber, Melville, N.Y. BlueLinx’s distribution centers in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK.; Littlerock, AR.; and Atlanta, GA., have added Digger’s Westbury Aluminum Railing, ADA Railing and Magena Star Lighting.

AZEK Building Products’ TimberTech outdoor living products now have greater reach into Texas, after being picked up by Weyerhaeuser Distribution’s DCs in Dallas and Houston.

Russin, Mongomery, N.Y., is now exclusive Northeast and mid-Atlantic distributor for Tropical Forest Products’ new Black Label brand of ipé and other tropical hardwoods. Some Black Label products are already in stock; others, including branded fasteners and oil, will arrive over the next few months.

Wolf Home Products’ decking and railing are expanding their reach into Illinois, Minnesota and parts of Indiana and Wisconsin via PrimeSource Brands, which acquired Wolf earlier this year. The DCs will initially offer Wolf Serenity Decking alongside partner brand Fiberon Decking and Railing.

Envision Outdoor Living Products’ composite decking is now being distributed to Wisconsin, northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota, northern Illinois, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula by Prince Building Systems, Neillsville, WI.
